With this work the Author completes and enriches an earlier important work about Polyporaceae s.l. which was published in Italy 15 years ago. This volume illustrates 271 species, 71 more than the previous work. Almost all species are fully described with the original diagnosis and have been illustrated with one or more colour photographs. All of them are accompanied by the relative micrographs. For every species there is included an English summary of the main macro/micro-morphological features.
