Biotope

It grows quite rarely on damp localities under Alnus.  

Macroscopic and microscopic features

Cap: 30-60 (-80) mm in average, convex to applanate,  later depressed, velutinous to squamulose. 

Gills: broadly adnate to decurrent, pale pinkish creamy.

Stem: cylindric, dry, smooth. 

Flesh: fragile, milk sparse, white, taste bitter to a bit acrid after some time. 

Microscopy: spores 7-9 x 6,5-7,5 µm, globose to broadly ellipsoid.
