This is the first part of a two-volume monograph on European Boletes. The first part presents all species, forms and varieties of these genera:

 Baorangia, Boletus, Butyriboletus, Caloboletus, Cupreoboletus, Cyanoboletus, Exsudoporus, Hemileccinum, Imperator, Lanmaoa, Leccinellum, Leccinum, Neoboletus, Porphyrellus, Rubroboletus, Strobilomyces, Suillellus a Tylopilus. 

In addition to a comprehensive section with descriptions of individual species, it also contains a key to all European species and chapters on ecology, morphology, conservation, etc.
